1 Set Policy Name

Under Policy Configuration, set a descriptive name for your conditional access policy to identify its purpose and scope.

2 Create Test User Groups

Create test user groups that detail the target audience to allow or deny via conditional access policies. Define their location, device type, and platforms.

3 Set Grant Controls & Mode

Configure grant controls (Block Access, Require MFA, Require Compliant Device, Allow Access) and choose mode: require one of the controls or require all.

4 Expand Device Settings

Expand device settings to customize device state (Any, Compliant, Managed, Unmanaged) and operating system platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, Windows Phone).
